Looks just like it takes an oem type carrier, that one looks sorta like a lonestar racing carrier.

I was just searching the R forum and came across this.. Hopefully it helps http://www.atvriders.com/vbb/showthread.php?483485-Doug-Gust-s-2000-Team-Nacs-Re-Build-Freshen-Up/page6

I'm pretty sure the old Nac's R ran a Laegers swing arm. Good luck on your search!

I dont know what brand it is but it is for a trx250r. Its got a stock 250r shock and linkage. Id look at the frame and see what kind of fabbing they did to get that linkage on there.

yeah a 250r linkage where it mounts to the frame is very different than the 400ex,,, you can slip flop about any Honda swinger on the 400exs and 450rs and the trx250rs but you have to find the correct spacers to be cut or made the linkage bushings that actually fit the correct bolt hole size of the 250r frames. but also if you running a certain carrier you need the correct brake stay and clip. and also you might have to change the sprocket hub around to get the chain to align correctly...

good luck man--- I believe the laegers had some grommets that fit into the slots on the swinger to keep the dirt from getting in between it and the carrier.. iono if they still sell them or not.. good luck man

Not trying to thread jack but I need help identifying a swingarm too and figured I'd post here instead of making a new thread. I was told its a +1 3/4 houser swingarm for my 400ex. It measures 22 and I think a stock swingarm is 18.25 inches. The thing that gets me is that it doesn't have a place to mount a TM designs chain slider.http://i312.photobucket.com/albums/ll338/tchilders58/400EX%20Parts/IMG_20140216_115049_936.jpg (http://s312.photobucket.com/user/tchilders58/media/400EX%20Parts/IMG_20140216_115049_936.jpg.html)

I bet that's an aftermarket 450r swingarm, based off the 6 skidplate mounting holes instead of 4 holes like a 400ex swingarm has.

I agree--- I kinda thought that eyeball engineering or JRD had a crazy looking swinger for a 450r kinda like this one--- but im not really sure on that!!!
