Clutch not engaging?

Just put new wrap arounds and steering stabilizer and for whatever the **** reason my clutch isnt engaging?? Put it in first gear pull in the clutch it just hops forward turning it over acts like the clutch isnt even being pulled in. Or just pull the clutch in and try and move it in gear and nothing. I dont get it if you look on the motor when you pull it in you can see the cable moving??

The cable moving don't mean anything. It needs to move enough so it may need adjusted either on the perch or the motor. ...or your basket msy be grooved bad. Best thing to do is pull the magnesium clutch cover off and see what's happening when you pull the lever
