Good evening,
I have my daughters 04 Predator 90, she was riding it and it just died. Replaced the CDI box, got it running and then went to hook up the kill switch and it died. Couldn't get it started again. Replaced the CDI box again, no spark. Un Hooked the kill switch, replaced another cdi box and still no spark. Replaced the coil and still nothing. Checked the wiring harness and I have power, checked the magneto and it's producing power when the bike is being kicked. I'm at a loss now, not sure what needs to be done. Please help! Again, had it running before we hooked the kill switch to it and now no spark at all. Thanks for your mechanical expertiese.

try bypassing the kill switch and make sure all grounds are good.

try bypassing the kill switch and make sure all grounds are good.

Tried this already. Kill switch is off the bike currently. All grounds are secure and have been checked. The bike was running, stopped, replaced the CDI, had the bike running again, tried to install the wire for the kill switch and killed it. Replaced the CDI again, unhooked the kill switch, and had no spark. Replace the cdi again, still no spark, so replaced the coil, and still nothing.

Have not replaced the stator. Shows power coming from the stator, but still no spark

if you were riding it in the snow or water the stator is either wet or junk one of the 2 I have one if needed. It probably worked the first time and u thought it was the cdi and it was the stator going bad

have you tried installing a new spark plug boot?? ours wasn't making contact with the plug so we picked up a new NGK boot and it worked.just cut the plug wire and screw new one in.also,is the replacement cdi stock or a no rev unit?? new spark plug?? are the cdi plugs tight when you replaced it? the stock harness has a few safety switches built into it.are they good? is the kill switch stock or aftermarket??
