Hi Guys,

I am in need of some experienced help for my sons Kasea 90. We blew the piston (50mm) on it due to advancing the timing and now in need of a top end. I would like to go up to a 52mm since I still have the stock 42mm crank. Can I purchase a new top end while still using the 50mm cylinder head? Also the cylinder jug seems alot shorter than the stocker which makes me feel I should just bore the existing cylinder and just purchase a piston? All the stock top end kits jugs seem taller and I want to make sure I get the right one. We only ride at the dunes and do not race track. The stock piston which we blew was 50mm by 60mm tall.

My initial thought was to just purchase a complete 52mm top end and be done with it but when I noticed the jug was shorter than stock that is when I got confused and asked for help. Also the crank arm has "Rocker" stamped on it and the cylinder has not visible identification other than a "Circled R". Anyone ever heard or now of these part makers?

Thank you for your time. Son is itching to get back to riding but just want to make sure I do the right thing.

It's a stock kasea motor.
You can bore/piston 1 size up (.05mm) or go 52mm (about 150 either way), or buy a new kit.
New kits are around 200 or so at a reputable dealer and come with cylinder/piston/etc....39.95 on ebay. :D :D

Thank you that really help me out. One more ? and a novice question. If I move up to a 52mm, do I need to purchase a 52mm Cylinder Head? Can I use the stock 50mm?

Thank you
