I have been looking around for a Yoshimura slip on for my '01 400ex.
rocky mountain and some other shops only have full systems...
I have a dirt wheels magazine that is probably a year old that has the RS-3 slip on silencer...
Did Yoshi discontinue or upgrade this silencer?
Do they even make a silencer for the 400ex anymore?

Any suggestions for others as an equalivant of this slip on?
:ermm:

Buy an R4 slip-on, much better just not much reviews about it, when I had one I beat my friends E series all the time and louder

I have a 02 400 and i have the yoshi slip on. Do you have the rocky mountian atv cataloge? Its in there. I think they sell for 299. I left my mag at work but im sure someone one here can get you the part number so you can order.

I love my pipe. Sounds really really nice and looks good. Here is a pic

I have a freind that had an R4...it was extremly loud. Part of the reason I
like(d) the Yoshi is that from what I understand it is not as hard on the ears...or more imprtantly the cops ears.
:cool

I have the lastest 2 Rocky Mountain ATV/MC catalog, it is not in either. I am ready to place the order for this + a few other upgrades.
It looks like the slip on is now inavailable. I e-mail rocky mountian, and they said "I checked our past inventory, and we do not have it listed. You are mistaken".
Wierd.
ps. looks AWESOME in that pic!

I love my Yoshi slip on. Great gains, and it's not overly loud. My friend/riding buddy just bought one last week from Marcum's ATV. I believe it cost around $260. Call them, they have them.

I just got the RM catalog today:)
They have the Comp Series Silencer for 299.99 but they don't list the silencer for the 400:confused: only the 250x and 300ex.
The full system runs 429.99:eek2: the Titanium system is 639.99:eek2: :eek2: :eek2:

Before I installed a 416 kit, I had just the Yoshi slip on, and a K&N. My two main riding buddies each have a 400EX, one totally stock, the other with just a K&N. We've drag raced several times. I was always ahead by 3-5 quad lengths, and the other two were always dead even. I weigh about 30 pounds more than the other guys.

I am very pleased with the Yoshi. I had a Sparks X4, but it was way too loud, and I noticed no power loss, just noise loss, switching to the Yoshimura.
