im 5 ft 9, 130 lbs I always loved the small quads. more of a challenge to find good parts, good builders and when you get one done up right they turn heads bc people aren't used to seeing them. the raptor and blaster are so much lighter than a 450 and its all about the rider in xc anyway. I embarrassed my fair share of 450's on blasters, 300ex's and raptor 250's over the years. I also had a Honda 450r, Predator and a yfz450 at different times and never felt comfy on them. If Yamaha put a yzf 250 motor in a raptor 250 frame I think I might have to convince the wife to let me get back in to it lol

130lb on a 450 would be like me riding a live bull haha. I agree the biggest and fastest aint always the biggest and fastest for everyone. I say screw the wifes approval and make a comeback......But honestly if you can tell the wife screw her approval to her face then your a bigger man than i am, and i got 100 pounds on ya hahah

the wife is really the easy part. the Marine Corps is a little more difficult lol mandatory atv rider classes that pretty much tell you not to ride the way it needs to be done in a race, paper work every other weekend to go on leave to race.... they make anything fun such a hassle! and Ive got a wife and 3 kids now so my comeback starts the day I win the powerball and get discharged lol
