Well dad (aka. Runnin Dumb) is headed for the middle east in about 12 hours..wish him the best and keep him in your prayers.

Well Dad called and made it to Saudi and said it flat out sucks. Some of the guys in his unit have been there for almost 3 weeks and have yet to get a bath yet..:( He said it's a 4 hour wait to use the phone for 3 minutes. Them soldiers over there not only have to deal with the war itself but pretty chitty conditions on top of it..so when ya go to bed tonight clean and out of harms way...say a prayer for those that are not as lucky as you..

what branch of the military is your dad in?what is his job over there?
you dont have to say if you dont want, i understand.

He's in the Airforce and is a mechanic on C-130 cargo planes..
