I got my new set of AC Racing Pro Pegs last weekend from C&D and finally got them installed. These things are great. Highly recommended.

I can't believe them jacklegs at AC are still making the pegs out of aluminum... They wear out way to fast..but i guess that gives people a reason to buy more from them...anywho..looks good mounted up scott...:D

yeah, when they wear out, i'll just get one of those nifty add-ons like you did a while back. i'm sure it will be a while for me. i don't get a ton of seat time, given that i'm mostly racing. it'll be so much better than my stock setup.

I think they did update it some. If I recall correctly, the old ones didn't have the holes in the bottom for water/mud to drain out, and the holes for connecting to the peg are pre-drilled on both the kicks on the pegs. Install was pretty easy.

AC must have hired some smarter monkeys.:D The holes mine had were either drilled to small or in the wrong place.

AC's quality is nice, but the people making up the mounting harware packages don't seem much smarter than the bolts they are putting in the bags. I bought a set of pro-pegs recently, and they were 3 bolts/nuts short. My buddy just bought a pair for his Z-400 too, and his kit was short about 6 washers, and 4 nuts.

The new style does look a lot better than the ac's i have. Wider is always better. (well almost always)

The new ones are NOT aluminum. Im not sure what they are......almost like carbon steel.....MAYBE some kind of aluminum alloy......I got mine in, I love em!
