I'm throwing this out as a feeler since I love the setup but am in an experimental mood.
The headlight assembly is off my 06. I have Simple Racing HID's installed (6000k). For the vet's on the forum, you'll remember Simple Racing's kit. Best of the best. I've been running it since 07. Since seeing the light output, i've installed the kit on 3 other quads for friends of mine. One bulb will sometimes go out, but turning it off and on again will fire it back up.
I drilled 2 holes in the bottom of the assembly and installed 4 LED's that point back at the reflector (See the pic below). The LED's are StreetGlow and are bright. I used a clear caulk to seal the LED's and to seal the housing for the HID's. Both can be removed if needed.
This is a 100% working assembly and includes all wiring. Its as simple as running the power cable to the battery, putting the ground somewhere, plugging in your factory headlight connectors to the HIDs and finding a hot wire for the LED's.
Looking to get $125 for the whole package.
