Sorry, bet this has been discussed a lot but the search here excludes 3 letter words. So I can't just pull up and study through a bunch of threads.

Is there any good reason to upgrade this part on these quads?

Planning what will probably be an 11:1 Stage 2 build if that plays a role.

i think you can just ad a *, like search cdi* and it should work.

but i think majority of people say to just use the stock one. ive got a xr250 cdi box and it raises the rev limit quite a bit ( ive never actually hit it yet) and i dont really like it cause it seems like its too easy to over rev the motor and feels like it might fly apart lol.

Thanks, I will try that!

If you find a white bros cdi, message me. They're one of the best ones for our quads.

Did the search with the star and came up with one result.

A White Bros search might bring some results in with a lot of exhaust results too. Sounds like this one isn't made anymore?

I have the WB CDI...no its not for sale. They have stopped making them. Some guys have a Curtis Sparks CDI, I would try and find out more about them. Many have said the ebay ones are junk and don't do anything. The WB did more than just raise the rev. limit, they changed the power curve as well.

I tried 2, white bros and lemme tell you what it was worth it. Rev limit raised and the curves were quite nice. I also had a procom, it gave me starting fits, the rev limit was nice but the curves were HORRIBLE. It was like riding a 2 stroke with no power.

Find a white bros if you can.

Cool... I will put it on the want list and keep eyes open for it.

If you all ever want someone to take it off your hands, shoot me a message. I will gladly. :)

I remember a thread about this awhile back and it turned into everyone saying EVERY aftermarket CDI EXCEPT the WB was a XR250 CDI and that they are pointless because our engines make no useable power after 9500 RPM. Or it was something right around the lines of that.
