Twin air filter

I bought a twin air filter ad was pissed because i didnt know you had to buy the hard clamp kit. Since 06 up have that big filter, my buddy has an 05 will the stock cage from his work with this twin air because this filter looks about the same size its not near as big as my filter. If his stock cage will work with the twin air i will just sel it to him and buy a uni or something that comes with the cage
