-15 here in central illinois last night, wind chill was at -43. Roads are snow packed, but much better than they were yesterday and the day before. We got around 8" of snow and with the terrible wind there are roads drifted shut and massive snow drifts!

im 2+ hours from lake michigan and we get major lake effect even this far.

60 in Texas today. The locals have the nerve to complain about how cold it is. Pretty ignorant considering the rest of the country!

We had a high of -13 the other day with wind chills close to -50. All I know is it makes for some great lake riding :muscle:

^^when ya got snow tires like those i'm sure it's a blast. i had the yfz out for about 2 minutes until i got stuck, we've just got too much snow for it now.

With this set up I can go through pretty much as much snow as I want! Something quick you can do to help with snow is take your swinger skid plate off if you don't have to worry about rocks underneath.

Son got stranded at out place last Sunday night...woke up Monday to see a drift almost as tall as his jeep. Still not nearly as bad as the Indiana blizzard of 78'.

Yeah, west coast saw this same blast of cold a little while back, but since then it has been nothing but &*$% sunny weather and 50 degrees. Damn ski resorts have only man-made snow from the last chill, and are running 25% capacity.

If ain't 80 degrees, then I want something below 30. I got no use for anything in-between.

They work better than tires. I have taken them through a foot of snow without any problems, and another good advantage is they grip a lot better while steering. Here's another random picture!
