ktm505sxf trx450r hybrid ????

I am in tge process of building a crf450/trx450 hybrid
But came across a interesting trade offer
A 2007 ktm505sxf motor installed in a trx450r look to be done correctly
I was wondering what your thoughts would be on this compared to the build ive started on
This atv would be used for scrambles and playing around the house

My buddy actually built the same quad (actually he bought it) same set up just for motocross. He loved it and its a pretty simple swap

cost of parts and availability (time-wise to get) is much higher cost and longer wait for ktm parts compared to crf only downside to ktm but power is great on their motors as well crf motors have plenty of power they are comparable to a built trx motor and cheaper/quicker to get replacement parts
ive had both and would choose crf due to time to get parts only
