View Full Version : will my elkas work on +1 a-arms

i found a deal on some +1 a-arms and i want to get them but my shocks are set up for 140-160lbs mx rider stk weight... without gear i'm barly brakin 140lbs and about 150 with gear... i'm on compression click #2 right now with the elkas... will i be able to use my shocks without a revalve on the +1 a-arms:confused: i don't want them to be 2 soft for me... thanks...

They should be fine tommy. You might just turn the compression up however much you can. I think these POS works I have are valved for stock and they are on houser +2...lol

they should work just fine...also try not to adjust your comp..all the way to the softest or hardest settings..4 clicks out from either is a good start..

rico in the woods i'm 2 clicks from softest... on a mx track i'm around 5 clicks... i think wiht the +1 my shocks will actually be perfect for me... bc i'm a light weight as it is... i'm at the bottom of the weight range of my shocks....

I ordered my elkas on wednesday and they told me that if I wanted to run +1's in the future, they can send you different springs. later.

I agree I just took my first ride on mine and i am definitely impressed:D
