06+ 450r swing arm on 05 450r with gtt xc link?

can i run the 06 swing arm on my 05 with a gtt xc link? or is it not even worth it? im assuming my shock will be overwhelmed by leverage with the 06 but its only .5 longer so not sure if its worth tracking one of them down or just get another stock one... the one i have now is trashed i replaced the bearings and still loose i think the bearing sleeve is ovalized now...

In order for it to work properly you need the swingarm, shock and linkage off the 06 and use it all with the linkage.

Also unless you weigh 140lbs the shock will be WAY to soft and cause you issues. It must be set out to be revalved and resprung.

i ran my 05 LSR swinger with an axis rear shock and GTT link on my 05 trx,, and a cpl years ago i swaped over to an 06+ stock swinger with an 06 GTT link and 06 dogbone. and had laz work over my stock shock with the highflow piston.. and never looked back. It feels so much better than my previous setup.... i think its worth the money man!!
