what makes it richer.moving the needle up or down.thanks

if you move the clip on the needle DOWN then it raises the needle up more and richens the fuel mixture. so move the clip closer to the tip of the needle.

thanks.i have a white bros slip on and unifilter.dynojet says to run a 170 main.doesnt that sound a little rich?

Dynojet has a different numbering system the the Keihin (stock) jets. If you are using Dynojets go with what they say.
