Just as the title says slow build/rebuild for next season reason for it being so slow is I'm 16 and I don't have a job although I'm looking! But here's what I've got so far 1718106353

I've began to have issues with my brake rotor having play in it not side to side but forwards and backwards do you think that I'll be ok with just replacing the the part that holds the rotor or having to get a new axle and rotor 1718106364

I think you'll be ok as is...I've had play like crazy in my splines on the wheel hubs and axle for yrs....until they strip I'll save my money....since you don't have a job I would say if it ain't broke don't fix it.

Get the frame Powdercoated again
Different rear skid plate
Rear shock revalve
Beadlocks
Steel braided brake lines
Get my front shocks revalved and and have external resivours added
New front plastics
New front rotors
Flexx bars
Bigger tank
+2 steering stem
Different axle nut (mine won't stay tight for anything)
Air box that holds the battery
New nerfs that have heel guards or just heel guards
And a lot more that's the stuff on the top of my list

Nice, sounds like it should look pretty sweet! When you get to the point of buying a skid plate or the steel braided brake lines shoot me a pm, I may have some you'd be interested in.

Also in the past I've had problems with breaking the grease fittings on my a arms so I did a little grinding to gain some clearance

Are you sure it is the hub or the axle? The splines look good. Look at the braket that the calaper bolts to. Ther is a pin that is on the swing arm that the bracket slides over. The bracket may have egged out or the pin sleave may be worn.
You can save money and use your stock lock nut by wraping the lock nut and jam nut together with electrical tape. This works great!

There is no hope for any of the 3 locknuts I've got I've Tried every trick in the book and I already have one of those brackets ordered its either the axle or the rotor hub

Get an anti-fade brake hub if you can afford it. They cost alittle more but it makes tightening that thing a million times easier. And you can disassemble the rear end in about 15 minutes. I'm also saying it looks nice as is, but I of all people know that all the little things that you don't have modded are what bug you. I had the same urge until I damn nearly modded every piece on mine. And did you install those arms or did someone else? They come with little plugs (set screws) that you put in the a-arms when you ride. Then you put the zerks in to grease the arms and remove them again. I guess you can do that to leave them in and save some time but you shouldn't need to grease your arms but once or twice a year unless you are putting on a ton of miles every year.

I put them on I just like to grease them a lot and that's why I have had the same bushings since I got them almost 3 years ago and the 3 lock nuts that I have are anti fade lock nuts but are you talking about the ones that hold the rotor also like the one lonestar makes?

Yea, they are called anti-fade brake hub locknuts. This is the one I have: http://www.team-rpm.com/honda-trx-450r-anti-fade-brake-hub-assembly.html They act as a heat sink and draw the heat away from the rotor through the hub and the lock nut. Your brake pads last longer and your brakes won't fade as quickly, if at all. I don't think they make anti-fade lock nuts, atleast they wouldn't do a whole lot if they did, since it wouldn't be physically connected to the rotor to draw the heat away.

Mistake on my part I thought that it was called an antifade nut because the nut wouldn't fade (or get loose)

Little update got my frame sent to get Powdercoated should be back in about 1-2 weeks
