Need some opinions

My 86 frame is gusseted along with tabs added to the frame to replaces the lower rear engine mount from the 86 swingarm. I'm installing an 88 +4 swinger so now i won't be able to use the upper rear engine mount that was used with the 86 swingarm. I don't use the head stay, so will the 3 bottom engine mount be enough to support my engine? Here's a pic of the custom tabs on my frame and the shaved off lower engine mount from the swingarm mount. Hope i'm not confusing anyone.

So that mount in the upper center of the picture is what you are talking about? I would not feel comfortable using only 3 mounts and I would not even feel comfortable with out a head stay. I wouldn't do that on a stock motor and especially not a Sphynx (judging by what your sig says)

Thanks. My engine builder says they never run head stays on their Saber drag bikes. He said I could use only 3 mounts but to make sure the bolts are always tight. I just wanted some other opinions
