I've got some DWTs, ITPs, Hipers & OMFs right now and I like the DWTs the best.

The tapered inserts on my ITPS have come loose so I have to keep them ziptied together when the wheels are on the shelf, just a pain in the ***. Also warped a ring pretty bad.

my OMFs are hella strong but they are HEAVY!

the Hipers have stripped the inserts in a few holes and they've become my least favorite.

Just got some used DWT rock n locks and a set of DWT Shamrocks and I really like their design better than others.

i myself run the dwt rock'n'lock 3:2 fronts and the g2 single bead lock rears.... great wheels, super durable, the powder coating is super durable, and they look pretty sharp.

however, if i had to do it again, id buy hipers. hipers are a little more expensive, but the re-sale is better and after my buddy broke a piece of his, its pretty trick that you can completely rebuild the entire wheel by yourself in your own garage.

champion in a box

I feel like the champion in a box is a rip off because I can get rears for $140 each and im sure fronts are cheaper than $210 each

If you're riding MX you don't need front beadlocks and the MX champion in a box is 500..

Or look for a used set.. I score my used set of 4 for 360 shipped

YOur gonna finish a race on a bent metal wheel, your not gonna finish one on a hiper. The inserts spin and break, and so forth as well.

Me I like the DWT beadlocks. Find a good used set.

I'd say if you're doing hard core GNCC or XC style racing get the Douglas rims, they will take more of a beating that the HiPers. HiPers are more for track and easy to moderate trail riding in my book.

I like the shamrock fronts.. I've got them in the rears..

I got these for 360 shipped.. New PC on the back wheels and maybe the new yellow carbon fiber Goldspeed rings (or PC existing rings) and they'll be brand new again. I checked all the bolts and inserts and nothing is stripped either. The only negative is the rear rings are beat.. but for 90 bucks a wheel to my door...

I wonder if they'll fit other wheels

They say will fit all Goldspeed beadlocks almost all DWT beadlocks (shamrock, G2, ect) but the rings are different than my ITPs and pretty sure the OMFs are a different bolt pattern as well.

I think they'll look pretty good with carbon rings with fresh black PC on the wheels themselfs

I always throught they were affiliated with DWT.. since Goldspeeds new carbon rings fit DWT beadlocks they can't be that different?

I was thinking the same thing since their aluminum rings look exactly alike

I like the idea of the aluminum rim and carbon rings...

The reason is I wanted some colored wheels, and I was sick and tired of upkeep. So I bought hipers. If you scratch them they are the same color. Really nice to me.

But I would be OK with an aluminum rim and carbon ring... same idea.
