Might as well get this started as i may need help or suggestions along the way so here are the before pics as it was when i got it and will post as i go along, i will be racing the earlywine indoor series on it so it may be a time consuming thread :ermm:

so far i have got for it but not installed yet:

Fullbore Black plastics with graphics being made now
Powder on the way (sparkle granny smith/gold chrome)
New f/r beadlocks with hoosier mx tires
White Chassis aluminum airbox setup using yfz intake and pro flow kit (laeger400)
New bearings for swinger and crf450 shock linkage
Rath Monster peg nerfs, the ac's in the pic turned into junk real quick i actually broke the back of peg of right side it needed a upgrade to say the least
overflow tank to mount to radiator shrouds

ive got to make some brackets for top of the radiator, after practice at braircliff i broke both top mounts somehow and it was bouncing around

my plan is to mount the nerfs and new radiator brackets then race earlywine this weekend then come home and tear down for powder and bearings, im going to keep motor stock until end of indoors then build a good power reliable motor

anybody out there have a black tank cover i could buy or trade a nice red one for????

Check out the 250r classifieds a guy named Skippy was selling a bunch of quadtech stuff he had some nice tank covers it would look nice with your hood. Tuned in for this build sounds like its gonna look sweet.

Racing earlywine? Ive spent many many hours and MANY MANY dollhairs in that place since 2004 haha. Tracks aint what they were before Chris passed but still a fun place. I would like to go over tomorrow and watch. Got a good friend that i do a bunch of motor work for thats racing. But the good ol overtime calls my name. Thats probably quite the haul for you aint it?

quad tore down new nerf supports welded in and everything at the sand blaster, should be powdered by next week and pics will be posted and start the assembly process, as of now all I will be waiting on is my graphics and seat cover but it is all on order; other than that I need it together before the 14th of dec. for next round at earlywine so may be rocking the red plastic LOL

also I got a black tank cover so no longer looking

still waiting on powder as all the holidays are getting in the way of this build, BUT on a good note i got the seat cover installed and graphics 90% DONE and need opinion on the hood...should i mount the quadtech on top of the fullbore plastics and cover the dual scoops or just leave it off and run fullbore front normal???? im just kinda partial to the quadtech look but need some input

here are a few pics of some stuff so far and picture of fullbore fronts to help make a decision on above post with the quadtech hood dilemma

I'm in the same boat as far as the fullbores and hood lol. I love the look but hate to drill into my brand new fullbores. What did you come up with?
