Looks liek you have a pretty decent setup as is :macho.. two small things that come to my mind are;

Is your rear shock re-done or is it stock?
Do you have a stabilizer? CCP's work wonders and are cheap(er)
Precision clamps or Flexx bars? they are pricey but if you're patient you can find a pair for ~150

You've raced 4 times so you already have a good idea. I noticed my stabilizer does wonders in the woods. I wouln't ride without one lol.

And post some pics! I wanna see your journey tires and oil cooler :muscle:

I'm having my rear shock redone and I'm looking for a set of flex bars
And a stabilizer is something I have also thought about getting because I hot a tree with my front tire once and it was just brutal on the wrists

stabilizer is worth it, I wont run without it.

If you're not already running tire balls in the tires i woudl highly recommend this. Nothing worse than a flat tire in the middle of a woods race.

What's the price on tire balls and where can I get them also what are the pros and cons of flex bars vs precision bar clamps

unfortunately (and i never understood this) tire balls ain't cheap!

some guys take the pool noodles and put them in their tires, this will hold up without hair no doubt, but it's not going to ride quite like tire balls will.

well, because of the price of tire balls, a lot of guys use "walmart" balls or "hanna montana" balls as they call them....

i believe for a sport quad, guys use the 6" diameter balls and then inflate them to 7-10 PSI each with 4-7 PSI around them in the tire. they supposedly work great i guess. my one buddy ran the for two seasons in his LTR and never had any problems with them what so ever (he won the PAXC c-class championship for the 2012 season: IIRC)

you can either go to walmart or order them directly from hedstrom. from what ive been toldm $150 will get you enough to do two whole quads (8 tires total). thats significantly cheaper than the regular tire balls.

there are several threads on the kwad (quad) zone forums about this

"Barbie balls" work great! I finished a race this year on them with a flat right rear tire and had no idea until after the race. A great cheap alternative to tire balls
