Part out?

What can I expect to get with a full part out, took off my cylinder today and looks like it tried to cold seize... Weird since I don't recall a time it could've happened. Bigger mods are in sig , any ideas? rear tires are shot too.

I think you can usually get double out of it for a part-out vs. if you just sold it outright. But that's if you do it right and everyone is picking up your parts as you start tearing it apart and you're not having to make deals and bumping threads and lowering the price repeatedly. So, with that being said I think your quad is worth $2000-$2500, maybe $3000 for the right person. So if you're lucky maybe $5000, $5500 if you're damn lucky parting it out. But that's a FULL part-out, every last nut and bolt basically, and usually that never happens, so expect around $4500 part out. Again, I'm no magical genie, a lot has to do with where you live and who is wanting what right now also, so everything I said you could throw out the window in the right situation.

Well ****, I value my quad at 1000-1500 as is so if I can get that ill be happy. Ill be listing everything here soon enough..

I parted out 3 400ex this year cause that's the only way they sell . My last part out was a blown up beat to sh*t 01 400ex and I got over 2k out of it. It had a custom swingarm, a arms, stem, nerfs Etc. If you part it out post everything on eBay. I might take the a arms

You saved the stock parts right? Put them back on and sell all the aftermarkets.

Nice thats what I want to hear. How long did it take? Also never used ebay, Im gonna try craigslist, and atv forums first.
