Is there any reason why I can`t switch from a heim joint to a sealed ball joint on my front end? Between the squeaking, short life span and cost I`m about fed up with these things!

crickets....................... not even any theories?Sometimes heims or rodends can be used to gain travel,as long as the balljoints don't limit the range of shock travel,no clearance issues you should be allright.I don't know if the center pivot height for the heim to ball joint is the same, but if it is raise or lowered the same on both end,you shouldn't have any gains in bumpsteer, onother option would be tefloned lined rodends

I ran the Teflon lined ones and they didn`t even last a season. we`re all mud or sand. that`s what I don`t know is if the rod ends have more range of motion than the sealed ball joint

I think your question would be best answered by who ever made your a arms. sorry I was of no help

no i appreciate the input. the manufacturer of the a-arms switched to a sealed ball joint too. which I found out after I had started this thread.
