Hey guys just picked up an all stock 08 450er.

Mods that im going to do

full motorworks exhaust
uni filter
airbox lid off.

I may cut my lid so it's like the hrc what do you think? should I be pretty close to hrc jetting specs? does anyone know where I can buy just the hrc jetting without the other parts? thanks a lot!

I have the same set up I cut the lid on the 2 sides and back with razor bent down the flap and put screws in to hold from bouncing.

What main jet did you end up with? I hear 165 is pretty common

The HRC kit come with a cam I'm pretty sure that exact kit will need tweaking with out the cam.. Why not have someone the correct EGA or dyno tune it to be exact instead of playing the jetting game. By the time you get it where you "think" it's right and spend the money it'll be done.. Just a mechanics two cents
