i ordered a prm rear swingarm skid for my 86 honda 250r. when i went to bolt it on the bike, the bolts in the back were about a 5/8 inch to far apart in the back, looked like it would bolt up in the front, and the skid plate overall was about an inch too long. i just bought this thing in november, and for the most part it is still the same as i bought it. did the guy before me put an 88 length swingarm on this thing? if so, does anyone make a swingarm skid for this setup? any input will be greatly appriciated. thanks

the 86 R swingarm is 1 inch longer then 88/89..thus bolt holes are different & 88/89 are aluminum , ...is yours steel or ?..
... there is skid plates for all year R swingarms ..
