Im headin down to glamis in a few weeks so can any of you glamis regulars tell me how the weather is over there right now? When does it start to get to hot to spend a weekend there?

The wheater is great, just came back from there last week. RIght now is fine to go. the longer you wait the hotter it gets.

Since your from Pismo I was thinking about heading there in 2 weeks, first heading up there, how is wheater up there as far as a 3 day trip on the dunes??

thanx for the info

right now the weather over here is on and off meaning itll rain one day and be sunny the next, but for the most part its good enough to spend a weekend at. But...its gettin windy:eek: which means if you dont walk around without goggles your eyes are gonna be covered with sand:mad:

What do you consider hot? I think its hot now. I'm going to Gordans tonight and tomorrow its going to be in the 80's. I just hope its not windy.

Hot is about 105+ degrees, but I live in AZ so its normal for me:devil

In glamis anything above 85 there is freakin hot since there is no shade.... Well anyways for weather updates go to

They have links to the weather in Glamis... Always a good thing to check before you go, ecspecially with gas prices so high... The heat isn't as bad as the wind thou... Make sure there are no wind for cast... it sucks out there when the wind is up... Good riding after the wind dies down thou...

I just got back from Glamis last night. The weather was PERFECT! Temp. was about 75-80 with a slight breeze all day.....the wind blew really hard from Monday night to Wed. morning, so the dunes were great. Very little tracks, mostly virgin sand.:)

Just got back from Gordans Well. The group is going out for Easter, but not me. It was to hot for me this weekend and its only getting hotter.

If i can get my quad back together i might be down there in two to three weeks, ill let you know when i head over there.
