I Have A Lsr No Link Crf. I'm Sure You Guys Are Familiar With The Pain In The ***** Airbox Problem. I Made One That Fits Really Well But IM Kinda Wondering If It Will Cause Problems Because I Used A Price Of Silicone HoSE That Is Not Tapered. Is There A Reason For The Shape Of These Air Boots Or Do You Guys Think This Should Work Without Any Headaches? I Will Post A Pic This Weekend. Sorry For The Terrible Message Posted From My Phone..

I built a fliptop for a guys lsr crf about 6 months ago. It turned out sweet. He wanted me to build an airbox but I had to pass that project up.

WeLL Here It Is.. This Is Kind Of A Rough Draft But It Is Absolutely The Biggest That IT Can Be Without Hitting Anywhere. IM Just Worried That It Won't Work Because The "Boot" Is Not Tapered. I Think In My Previous Post I Made It Sound Like The WhOle Boot Was Made Of Silicone Hose But That Is Not The Case.

If its only a wet weather airbox and not permanent thing.... It will be just fine - in a mud race...a lil less power is okay. Find a dyno and have it dialed with and without the box and always remember to amount of jet sizes between the two.

the taper increases velocity into the venturi. it probably will have some effect in power but i dont know where in the rpm range it will have the biggest reduction in power.
