Do I rejet my carb after getting my motor bored

I just finished up my motor it's a 400ex with a je 416 I've got a stage 2 hot cam and it's got a bills slip on on it (it was on there when I bought the bike I assume that it was Jetted once for the pipe) the header welds are ground and it's got a k&n air filter it seems to run fine it doesn't cut out or anything but I was wondering if I could free up a little more power with different jetting

If you do not really know the current jetting then yes there is a chance it could be to the advantage to try new jetting. What carb is it a 400 or 450 carb? If it is the 400 carb I would suggest upgrading to a 04-05 450r carb. It will help in power and throttle resp.

It's the stock 400ex carb and I've been looking into getting a 450r carb but does it fit, is it a noticeable increase in throttle response, what do I do about the hot start and last what's a estimated price on one
So I know I'm not getting ripped off
