i think that they are just refular tcs shocks, correct? they may look so low because of the way they are adjusted. you can adjust the ride height on them and probably compression as well. i didnt look at the price but i would say they should work ok.

its the zps that lowers, that doesnt affect the bottoming of ths shock

Turning and body roll. It makes it harder for your bike to get up on two wheels, which is a good thing in MX.

But it must effect ground clearence sitting so low - in terms of trail riding. Can you adjust Elka ssd's to make then not sit so low? I think by adjusting the crossovers?

you wont bottom out. And it doesnt make your aarms sit lower....it makes you quad compress a little more.

I think you can adjust the ride hieght, but it wont make much a diference on the trails anyway, just look at what all the gncc riders are using.

having sag for trail riding seems like a bad thing but really it's not that big of a deal..goin from non SSD shocks to the elka SSD shocks made a big difference in handling..a very big difference..but i have yet to notice that the quad is dragging the ground or bottoming out more...if anything hits on the trail....it's yoru swingarm skid and having SSD shocks will not make your skid lower to the ground only lower profile tires will do that...trust me guys..having sag in the trails is really a good thing..;)
