who makes a good flywheel puller. they are on ebay from $10 to $100. i don't want to break the bank but i want to use it more than once

I think Tusk makes a lot of good ATV tools. Motion-Pro really pioneered the industry of motorcycle tools and their tools are top-notch. Tusk tools are usually a direct, cheaper copy.

With almost ANY flywheel puller, once you get the tool in place and start pulling, you may have to smack the flywheel to break it loose. Be careful when you do this, you don't want to break the magnets inside.

The Tusk flywheel puller is about $11 from Rocky Mountain. I would also suggest buying the Tusk Clutch Holding tool at the same time, if you don't already have one. They're only about $17, not too terribly expensive, and it's not just for the clutch. It will hold the flywheel to keep it from turning and allow you to remove the flywheel nut. Might be a good time to start building your ATV tool inventory.
