Calvmx in connection with the AMHRA will be having a 3 wheeler MX National event on March 15-16, 2014 at Cahuilla Creek Mx. This event will also kick off the Imperial Invasion ride at the Imperial dunes.
Sat. March 15 will be a special 3 wheeler only National event. Classes are being worked out and we will have a better idea once we have an idea of rider turnout.
The track be the Cahuilla Creek track located in Anza, California.
It is the perfect track for the 3 wheelers and is located closest to the dunes.
Vintage B- 0-265cc 2 stroke 0-360cc 4 stroke vintage 3 wheelers pre 1988 with period correct modifications. Beginner/Novice level riders.
Vintage A- 0-265cc 2 stroke 0-500cc 4 stroke vintage period correct modifications. Intermediate/expert level riders.
Open expert-open to anything on 3 wheels and years and mods allowed.
Mini class- anything on a ATC 70 based chassis. If we have enough minis showing up there will be a special track just for them.
If theres is a big enough turnout and interest we can do classes such as...
4 stroke vintage 0-500cc
2 stroke vintage
open vintage
The classes will be period correct mods and pre 1988.
Frank from Calvmx is working out the details and is working on sponsorship for the event.
Everyone who signs up will get a T-shirt and a catered lunch.
Camping is available at the track. The gate will be open friday night for the late night arrivals.
