what exaust?

i just got my 03 400 and was wonderin if after i put my xcrs(not sure what fronts) i should got shocks and stuff or go exhaust. i do not race yet but i am planning on it.now i play race at my friends track and trail ride. the trails are very rought where i live but i also have smooth cleared trails. i was just wondering what ur thoughts were on this subject.:huh

IMO shocks are more important than power. You have more than enough in the novice class. The shocks will let you ride a lot harder than having one more hp.

that is true, ppl just want to go fast and get their motor done!!
u dont need it, i raced with a stock motor for a year befor going to the 416 and i did fine.
if i didnt have the shocks i do, i would prob kill myself, go with shock b4 motor work!!!

yea, its a tough call. Shocks are a really good mod, but so is a pipe and airfilter. I would say go with the pipe and airfilter, take out the choke and jet it, this will give you a little more power all the way through the rpm range especially bottom end which will be used a lot when ur racing.

I would go with a slip-on pipe first for sure, then later on get shocks.

if your a good rider a stock 400 motor with exhaust will do fine!!!!
