I've started rebuilding an 87 250r, I've been messing with dirt bikes for years and I'm just wondering where the best place to get the little things like water pump kit and all. I can find the piston and the gaskets online but nothing when it comes to the water pump and the seal is bad that keeps water out of the case.

i bought most of my stuff off ebay to build my quad.Theres quite a few reputable atv companies that sell parts on there.You can still get the rebuild kit for the water,minus the shaft witch id discontiued i believe.You could also try your local honda shop,or motosport or service honda.

Johnny five start shopping at your local dealership, get to know guys at counter mgr and all. I have been going to same dealership and buying from them for 9 years now and I get better discounts than local sponsored racers from that dealership,i am up to 47% on parts now and with all the help they give you stop bye and bring them lunch every once in a while. My guys are so good to me i really appreciate their help and do anything they ask of me!

Thanks guys...my local shop is more than an hour away! I think I'll just go with the ebay stores.
