Up for sale is a very nice FCR carburetor bored by Mr. Chris Everett at SREDRUM Performance and Machining in Findlay Ohio. This carb is a hybrid taper/straight bore carb. It measures 45.5mm on the intake side and 44mm on the cylinder head side. This is probably one of the nicest carbs I've seen -- very clean and very well done. I'm only selling this because I acquired it in a package deal and do not need it since I have a big Lectron carb and a big HSR coming as a backup carb.

Price is $340 shipped and paypal'd as NON-GIFT or $330 shipped/paypal'd as a GIFT.

Here's the info on the carb:
- Originally a 39mm FCR carb off a Yamah YFZ450
- SREDRUM Performance and Machining hybrid taper/straight bore
- 45.5mm on the intake side, 44mm at the venturi, and 44mm on the cylinder head side
- NOSS adapter Yama-bonded and set-screwed in place and bored to match
- TPS has been clipped off to clean up the appearance of the carb (this does NOT need to be plugged in anyway)
- Comes with carb-to-head rubber boot, clamps, and a hot start cable (yes, it has a hot start)
- Has allen cap screws in the float bowl (much less likely to strip than the phillips screws)
- No cracks, stripped threads, or stripped bolts/heads
- I have not installed or tested this on my bike, but I did tear it down, go through all of the jetting circuits, and made sure it was clean
- This carb allows you to use your stock hot start cable and stock throttle cable.

Jetting it will come with:
Main - #230
Pilot - #50
Needle - NCVQ on 3rd clip from top
Leak - #35
A/F Screw - 1.5 turns out
Starter - #90
Slow Air Bleed/Jet - #70
Main Air Bleed/Jet - Unplugged (#200)

On a built motor what can I expect out of this carb. Performance wise?

Depending on what your motor combination currently is (cc size, parts used, ported head - and how well done it is)...and what carb you are currently using - you'll see a gain from somewhere between 1hp - 4hp from 7000 RPM to the limiter and MUCH more throttle response everywhere. You MIGHT see a small loss below 7000 RPM of .5hp - 1hp depending on what cc size your engine is.

If you have an 06+ bike with a well-ported head and are still using the stock 40mm FCR, a larger bored FCR is a must-have upgrade, in my opinion - otherwise you're leaving power on the table. If you have an 04/05 bike with a ported head...and you're still using the stock Keihin carb, an FCR of ANY size is a must-have upgrade.

Attached is a good example of what a bigger FCR will get you (thanks to John aka mixxer from Venom for the testing). The test bike is a Venom ported '05 480cc with +1 valves. The green line is with a stock 04/05 42mm Keihin carb and the black line is a SREDRUM bored 43mm FCR carb - no other changes made.

Hope this helps!
