wont start

So I've been goin through a lengthy process of rebuilding my quad. Got the motor back together last night, got in all ready to be fired, won't start. Its getting spark, its getting fuel. Took the valve cover back off with the motor at top dead center, it looks like the cam could be off by one tooth. Would that be the problem? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

that could cause the issue. make sure you have the came lobes facing down and the cam gear is lined up with the head.

The lobes are down, I'm gonna adjust the timing on the cam tonight and see what happens.

if your using the stock cams did you make sure to put the decompression spring and plunger back in?
