What do you primarily use your quad for?

Just curious to know what most you all use your machines for, whether, its for work, play, or anything else. I use mine primarily for recreational riding, exploring backroads and trail riding. Although it also serves a errand-runner or transport back and forth from work when the weather is nice. It's a 400EX so can't really do much with it for chores and such, someday I want to get a utility for that, they would be nice for yard work and plowing the drive.

Here lately mine has just been one garage decoration. But when it does get rode its either in the air or in the woods somewhere

I say work because race quads just are in the way it seems, never are ridden, and the grizzly is a valuable asset to the farm. Its an 02 and its been worked on the farm its whole life, the thing is so wore out :P Time for a new one!

i use my trx450 for flat track/tt racing about 12 times a year. The yfz is a trail beast that i ride almost every weekend that i'm not racing. I live to ride.

After retiring from MX racing 10 years ago I use my sport quads for trail riding. But there are many types of trail riding and for some that is putting around the trails, for some it is mudding, for some it is fast riding on smooth trails/fire roads, and for some it is sight seeing in scenic areas. For me trail riding is ripping along rough trails as fast as possible GNCC style or climbing hills. Sometimes I try to go slow and try to enjoy the view but end up getting bored until I start pushing the pace. I will say, however, that I like to go fast but on rough, rutted trails in the woods and hills fast may only be 20 or 30 mph in those conditions. So I say I like to go fast but I am not comfortable at high speeds on wide open flat trails. I let the youngsters take the lead on those sections and then I have them try to keep up with me in the technical trails when we get back to the hills and turns ;).

My utility quad is only used for work such as pulling my trail mower to mow the lanes on my property, or pulling trailers, or hauling the chainsaw when clearing trails and cutting firewood.
