hey guy, saw this on cl thought it was pretty cool! i have yet to see one yet, have any of you 400ex guys use one of these?

Never knew they existed but would be a nice feature. Just as long as I could still run the electric as the primary starter and only have the kickstart for backup in case the starter or battery went out. Call me a weenie, but I rode dirtbikes for 15 years straight and am tired of kickstarts, I love just being able to push that button and go..

ahaha i hear ya! it would work for like losing the battery if you dont run lights but if you notice on the ex case the hole it near the brake. THe same hole as the kickstart on the xr cases so that would be an issue?

Thats sick! i heard about this before but somone told me you had to use a xr400 bottom end or something so i never bothered. do you know if he still has it??

Maybe use the brake lever off a XR, not sure that would work but I bet they bolt right on.

There's a couple guys on here who have converted their 400 to a kicker. There was a thread somewhere...

i see a clutch in that kit....and i'm not seeing a kickstart lever anywhere with the kit either.

There is also no kicker shaft. i think the guy still has it. it was on a near by cl ad. im going try and find the other thread thanks stickman!
