has anyone got air scoops and do they work, make engine cooler
and does anyone know anything about why my pipe gets so hot that it burnt a hole in my pants...I have a biggun full race, k&n, no lid, no choke. help its been goin on for some time now

yes the scoops are functional.....and i highly recommend tinner scoops...GCD all the way:macho

the pipe will get hot.....but if the quad is running lean i would presume it would run a touch hotter. is it jetted properly?

i don't have airscoops and i'm sure they'll work. the reason your pants are getting holes burnt into them is there is no heat sheild with the full exhaust system it just happens whenyou get a system.

168 main jet stock pilot should i have changed the pilot when i removed carb?

I run PJR Scoops, cause they are one of my sponsors:D But they are the cheapest out there. Plus all airscoops are the same pretty much, just depends how much u wanna pay for them? But yes they DO help a good bit!

u get PJR scoops from PJR or contact me and i can get ahold of him. they are $30 plus shipping. But that should be like....$35 total or something. Polished or colored.

HAHA, yeah we go around pappys trailor after the race, and gather up materials. :p But we goota move onto Ricos trailor, cause we would have enough supplies to last a full year:eek2:

I have PRM scoops on mine. They're similar to OMF scoops, but not as big. You should check them out at www.prm-atv.com . I think they are $40 or so...
