what program are you guys using to lower the bytes on pic with out making the pic avater size ?? :confused: :confused: :grr

IRFRANVIEW make the pic really small before i can post it :( not sure how to change the bytes

yeah i got the same problem. Only when i use my scanner. For them to be small enough to put them on, they are so tiny, u cant even see the pics???

u have to change the pixels per inch to about 72, then u can change the size to like 600 by 400 and it will fit fine

i changed the DPI to 62 then it worked....so i tried another pic and left the DPI on 72 and it worked so i am so lost as to what i did but it works :confused:

Hey man. Save your file as a JPG, then resize it. Your's appears to be a bitmap and they have very little compression, so they are very "fat". A JPG is compressed quite a bit, so the dimensions can be much bigger.

so i just click on "save as" then save it as a JPEG? Ill try it. If this is right ill let u know. When i say tiny, they are about.....1.5 inches high by 1 inch wide
