Alright, I just got a HMF full system on my 400, and the clutch cable touches the head pipe where it passes between the two pipes right off of the head. what can I do to keep it from melting? I think the tinfoil wrapping worked for todays ride but I'm looking for something permanent, HELP! PLEASE!! THANKS.

there is a little metal bar that hold the cable down by the head pipes and you can bend that down to help keep it away but myne still melts a little bit.

yea you need to bend that little bracket thats bolted on by the motor mounts, you can also reroute the cable a different direction up by the oil cooler, I have my cable go to the left side of the steering stem area so it wont hit my pipes
