I just put on a k&n plus rejeted, no pipe though. Seeing as I didn't get the k&n powerkit (I just got everything separate), I didn't get any directions or anything. I'm just curious as to how I should set my air/fuel screw. Is the stock setting ok? I'm 725 ft above sea level.

thanks

With the stock exhaust i think you will be okay. The airfilter is not a big change. If you did exhaust i would open it a little more, but it should be okay for now.

Ok, thanks. Just out of curiosity, what is the stock setting for the screw? Isn't it like 2 1/2 turns out or something?

Yea, I think the stock setting is out 2 1/2 turns, with my filter, pipe and no choke, i took mine out 3 turns.

Kind of a dumb question I'm sure, but why remove the choke? I've heard many guys that have done that and I don't understand why. Is it an issue with starting the quad?
