I have recently taken the head off of my motor and had when I put it back together it made this noise and it didn't do it before its hard at starting and won't stay running its defiantly coming from the top end like around the valves but I was also told it could be the timing chain is there anyway to tell it my timing chain is bad? It's an 05 400ex
