does anyone know if the 4-8 50 class and the 7-11 70 class means when theyturn that age or can my 9 and 12 yr old ride those class. they turn to old in march and april of this year are they still legal

From the OMA rulebook:
MX/Faircross Classes:
Class eligibility:
A rider’s age as of January 1 determines class eligibility for the entire year. However, if the rider becomes eligible for higher age division class during that year, he/she can move up to the next age division during that year after showing proof of his/her birthday, but he/she is no longer eligible for the younger division at that point.

This is a lil ways from me but I'm gonna try my best to get Logan there... It figures my long weekend off is the one before...I ain't got much time left to take off...
There is a race at Beans tomorrow that I think we are going too... I may even throw a leg over the quad! Wooo!

our 70 class is 11 and under, and rocky is correct, they are still legal because of Jan1 rule. The only instance where they couldn't run those is if they had already ran another class as a 9 and 12 year old.

Any chance the mini senior classes can be split instead of a double gate? We would love to race both classes.
