Well, I usually ONLY want Hondas, but I couldn't pass on this one. (You guys would hunt me down and kill me if ya knew what I paid for this.)

I got this engine for free. I am not sure exactly what it is, but.....I have an real good idea. (Tecate3) It was tossed in with a QUAD I just bought(dirt cheap too)Take a look, let me know what ya think. I gonna sell this one, after I decide what, if any, parts I may need from it. Oh ya, there is a spare side case (clutch side) for this one too.

QUADZILLA! man..ive always wanted one of those

Nope. Not a Quadzilla. Not even a Suzuki. It is a Kawasaki KXF250 Tecate4. It is a 2 stroker racer. It has a powervalved engine like a Suzuki, and from everything I have read, in stock trim, they were faster than the Honda TRX250R and the Suzuki LT250. It is only a bit slower than a Quadzilla in a 1/4 mile race. (this is from a '88 Dirtwheels article) The Quadzilla ran 15.09@79+mph and the Tecate4 ran 15.71@74+mph. It didn't give the actual #s of the others but the only other one was Banshee that was only faster through the first 60'. The Kawis had stator problems and I hear were always needing work to keep runnin. I would still rather have a Honda, but a Good Deal Can't Be Passed UP!!! http://www.geocities.com/Baja/Dunes/6243/

there is a guy in the kawasaki forum over at atvtime.com that needs a tecate 3 motor. or motor parts anyway. I forget exactly.

Thanks Punks, I will go check it out. And yes the frame is cracked.....in 2 places there. looks like the section of frame could be taken out. i just got an offer from a friend's buddy. EZ $$$ if I wanna sell it, but.....Man that would make a sweet ride. SOOOOO CONFUSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!
