Hey fellas new to the forum world but I'm gonna give it a try.
Ok here while back my uncles 300ex would die in neutral so we decided to take my neutral switch out of my 300ex and put it in his so we turned mine up it's side so it wouldn't drain any oil out and took the switch out and put it in his..it didn't fix his 300ex so we put the switch back in mine and let it down on it's four wheels. Ok..simple..then I drive mine up the road and it wasn't hitting the rev limiter and was so weak I could hold the throttle wide open and dump the clutch and it would barely bring the wheels off the ground...had the valves checked.good..timing checked..good..rev box is good and changed the carb with three carbs still no different..Now if the breather tube is on it only Revs about halfway and cuts out...take the breather tube off and it Revs higher but not to the rev limit and is still weak as hell...???
