Water Pump Rebuild Advice

Would like to rebuild my water pump before this weekend. Is there any thing tricky I should know about or is it a fairly simple job.

So now you know how to do it... jot down any notes you think may help you next time.

After ~6yrs of running CVT's I'll advise it's not a matter of if the water pump will start to leak again but a matter of when it will do it next (ours usually preferred in between motos of same day event)
