Daryl Rath wins with only 3 wheels

[Black Sheep]

At the 2013 AMA EDT National at Pine Lake Daryl Rath rode for Team TPC Trikes and won the main event after a battle with fellow teammate Erik Dubb. Dubb won their heat race with Lalanne 3rd. Fred Morrell won the second heat race setting up an exciting main event with the four TPC riders the odds on favorites. In the Main Rath pulled the holeshot with Dubb hot on his heels. Dubb tried an all or nothing pass in the bowl turn just before the last lap and paid the price with a crash and DNF :ermm: Fellow TPC Teammates Fred Morrell and Nick Lalanne rounded out the top three. COOL!!! I still have 3 ATC's and ride them all the time. These ATC hybrids rock, didn't know they were racing them though. Remember the old days when the ATC's raced before the Quads came out.

Thank you, I sure do remember those days. Was not to happy when I could no longer race my trike. Took a long time, way to long, but we have been bringing them back.

I'd really like to swing a leg over one of these 450s sometime. Too young to remember the "good ol days" on 3 wheels, but I do own a 200x and have ridden a couple of three wheelers and love it. Not sure I would ever have the nerve to throw one sideways at speed, but it looks fun.
