Motor removal/reinstall

Hey guys...Just curious, will the motor fit inside the frame on the 400ex's without removing the top end? I took my top end off then removed the motor...was going to put it all together before I put it in the bike, but just wanted to make sure that it would fit lol.

yes, you can have the motor completely assembled and it will fit. Takes some finagling and you will want to have somebody to help with the weight, but it'll slide in.

You kinda have to tilt the motor forward to get it in put a jack under the quad to hold the motor so it's easier to mount it as we'll

I did it myself...took the front motor mounts off to make it easier, and it slid right in.
