I'm boring my 400 out to a 465 to do a few flat drags here and there. I have a stock carberator as of now and wondering if I need to jet it out and to what size? Or would it be easier to just buy a new carb? Also I'm looking for a set of wheelie bars, so if u have some or know someone who has some just let me know.
Thanks
Jeremy

can you bore it right out to 465?

Anything will be better than the stock carb.. i think a YFZ carb or 06+ 450R carb would be best but the 04/05 450r carb is the easiest, there's 25 threads here on how to do the conversion. I just put an 04/05 on my 426 with St.2 cam and I'm a just a bike length behind a yfz450 with a pipe and filter :muscle:

I had a 440, stage 2 cam, kibble white over sized valves, straight header no slipon, open air filter no air box and a white bros CDI.

I was neck and neck with a worked out 450r, and with the fastest 450rs at the track.

I also had some weight mods done.

450r carb gets my vote, youll need it for the 465 and my jetting was 220 main 50 pilot.
