I'm boring my 400 out to a 465 to do a few flat drags here and there. I have a stock carberator as of now and wondering if I need to jet it out and to what size? Or would it be easier to just buy a new carb? Also I'm looking for a set of wheelie bars, so if u have some or know someone who has some just let me know.
Thanks
Jeremy

Stock carb sucks on these, go with a YFZ450 or 450r carb for it.. is that a 440 bored and stroked to 465? at 440+cc you pretty well need a better carb to compliment your mods.. and a better cam if you haven't thought about that yet.. :muscle:

I appreciate all the information. I got the the big bore kit from four stroke tech. Its a 92 mm piston and that's about it. I also got a stage 2 can from four stroke tech as well. So I only had to get the cylinder bored out.

Are you going to p&p the head? You will be wasting your money if you don't on 465 build. Imo

use a crf 450 carb. the trx 450 es a good carb, but the crf gives it a little more snap

Better get a aftermarket carb and also upgrade your clutch system And most of all have it Port and Polished.
